Ok. So I bought a new audio interface to record a few songs with. It’s not the best money can buy but I got it at a steal price on ebay. I bought a PreSonus FirePod. Its got 8 nice preamps + 2 aux ins on the back. I used to own a Motu 8pre, it cost around £100 more and didn’t have the 10 outs that the Motu had.

Ok. So I’m in a bar at the moment in France. Sipping Rosé wine*** and its Karaoke night. In Korea, karaoke is a big thing. Everyone can do it perfectly or at least put 110% effort into it. Here in france, i think it’s the complete opposite. The bar’s packed, the music’s loud, but the entertainment just isn’t here. The evening’s just full of knownothings and people who haven’t even the confidence to sing into the mic.
I would say bring back the old day’s but I’m 19 and have only lived long enough to survive a couple of british karaoke nights. I miss the action and I’m tempted to say I miss the atmosphere. But the atmosphere is OK. It’s just the embarrassing singers I miss I guess.
