Big lenses are a big pain

Ok. I’m on holiday in France. I have taken my camera body and my 3 best (and only) lenses with me.  I came out with the best intentions of trying to get some really nice snaps at the beach or on a night out.  Reality is somewhat different though.  I haven’t taken the camera out once.  Is it because I’m scared of getting my lenses stolen?  Not really.  The thing which gets me is that I have to take my camera bag with me. Why can’t people sing!

Ok. So I’m in a bar at the moment in France. Sipping Rosé wine*** and its Karaoke night. In Korea, karaoke is a big thing. Everyone can do it perfectly or at least put 110% effort into it. The evening’s just full of knownothings and people who haven’t even the confidence to sing into the mic.

I would say bring back the old day’s but I’m 19 and have only lived long enough to survive a couple of british karaoke nights. I miss the action and I’m tempted to say I miss the atmosphere. But the atmosphere is OK. It’s just the embarrassing singers I miss I guess.

*** it costs 1.50Euro for a glass of wine. 4.50Eur for a Stella. you do the maths
